Acts 6 is a master class in Church Leadership amidst rapid growth. This is a very short chapter that would be easy to skip over so please don’t. Take the time to read over it yourself and glean from it as much as you can. Especially if you tend to be a leader that has to do all the things. There is a simple formula the Apostles used to figure out what to do and we can too. They identified the problem, examined the problem, solved the problem, and released and equipped others to fix the problem.
As the church continues to grow, we see in Acts 5:17-42 that not everyone is happy about it. Miracles, signs and wonders abound, but the truth of Jesus Christ and the Gospel Message is under attack. As the story of the early church continues to unfold, the message to us today is the same. Truth matters and it can’t be stopped. There will always be those who oppose the truth and those who hold fast to the truth may experience persecution because of it. The Apostles held to the truth they witnessed first hand and obeyed what they were asked to do, even when persecution came.
We are tackling the hot button topic of Women in Ministry and Church Leadership. We look at the context of Scripture in both the Old and New Testament. We look at historical context and also translation choices of the original Greek words to get a full picture of God’s heart and intention towards women in church. We ask that you join us for this powerful conversation with an open heart and open mind as we search for God’s truth.
In Acts 4:32-5:16 we see a church that is deeply united in heart and no one, not one single person had a need. We see radical acts of generosity prompted by the Holy Spirit to care for the new emerging church - the body of believers. Then, just as quickly we see the pure heart motives and choices of one person, quickly turning into God exposing bad motives and impure intentions on the part of others.
Peter and John continue to CHOOSE BOLDNESS OVER Fear. Several hours into their conversation with those gathered around them after the miraculous healing of the lame man, the temple police show up and arrest them along with the healed man. Yet even more was added to the church.
This chapter is about taking the time for the ONE and responding to the Spirit of God to minister salvation, healing and deliverance. It is also about the power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Not only does Jesus' name carry authority, it carries power. Power to touch the lives of the physically and spiritually poor, lame and sick.

Acts chapter 2 helps us see where it all started, assess where we are now, and helps us to look forward to where we need to go. There are three major occurrences and three major themes throughout Acts 2 that we need to understand and examine as Christ followers if we want the good news of the gospel to spread and grow today.
Welcome to our 7th and final week of the Navigating the Chaos Series! This episode is power-packed as Amie and I discuss the many ways our culture has changed over the last 250 years here in America and around the world. The world seems to get more chaotic day after day, but what does the Bible say about how we, as Christ followers, are to navigate life in this world amid the chaos?
Godly and covenantal relationships are powerful. Relationships are also messy but an essential part of our life. In fact, we were created for relationships with God and others. The enemy will stop at nothing to turn us against God, brother against brother, and child against parents, because he knows a kingdom, a family divided can not stand(Mk 3;@5; Lk 11:17). The Bible tells us to expect chaos and disunity, but that a friend loves at all times(Prov 17:17)
The church is not immune from chaos. In fact, there is much chaos surrounding the church, church leaders, and even those who operate within the five-fold ministry functions. But what if anything can we do about? What does the Bible have to say about navigating chaos in the church?
On today’s podcast, we pick up where last week's episode left off, cover the remaining 2 main categories, and share our thoughts on hosting and on having a healthy prophetic environment in your life and in our churches.
On today’s podcast I layout 4 specific areas of prophetic protocol to be considered. Each of the 4 main categories have several subcategories. Amie and I discuss the first two of these main categories in length and share examples from our own personal experiences.
The prophetic needs a reformation. We just need to look to Scripture and see that the prophetic movement today is not what God intended it to be
Everywhere we turn lately there always seems to be some new form of chaos. It’s happening all around. It’s in the world, in the church, on social media, in relationships, and more. But how do we as believers navigate the chaos and not lot the uncertainty of the times cause fear worry or anxiety?

THIS IS A SERIES - BE SURE TO LISTEN TO EACH
There is a call for the readiness of the bride in the face of uncertain times. Matthew 25 tells the parable of the 10 virgins and and affirms the message of preparedness. We must be prepared and ready to stand firm and have a child like faith and not exhibit childlike behavior.
